APPLICATION FOR MAXIMUM YIELD
Manganese deficiency in plants causes deterioration in chloroplast structure. Cell volume shrinks and cell walls become dominant. On young foliage yellowing occurs between tracheas. Yellow spots appear on the leaves of some plants. Some species including beans, onion, peas, cucumber, tomato, sugar beet, potato, cotton, apple, cherry and citrus, are more sensitive to manganese deficiency.
Manganese ions activate some essential enzymes within plant cells. It is a fundamental micro nutrition element, which expands foliage surface by controlling water movement within the plant, increases photosynthesis and seed interception and helps to enhance the coloring of fruits.
Whenever manganese deficiency is observed, 150 –200 cc HIGRO® 8 Mn added in 100 liters of water can be applied on FOILAGE. With DRIP IRRIGATION system, 2 – 2,5 liters of HIGRO® 8 Mn per decare (1.000 m2) can be applied on soil. To avoid manganese deficiency beforehand, application of 150 – 200 cc HIGRO® 8 Mn in 100 liters of water is recommended in the below periods.
Leaves no residue or stain. Causes no residue problems because of pre-harvest application. Waiting time 0 (zero) days. No adverse effects on bumblebees resulting from the application of HIGRO® 8 Mn in areas (greenhouses and orchards) where bumblebees are used for pollination.
It is miscible with all kinds of agricultural pesticides and fertilizers. Jar test is required before mixing.
